Missions

We at Kingwood Church of Christ have long desired to follow the Great Commission in touching lives all around the world. Currently we are involved in Foreign Missions in Venezuela where we have 6 full time ministers. Locally, we are involved in the Impact Church of Christ, which is our inner city congregation. We also support the Texas Gulf Coast Bible Institute, which trains Hispanic ministers around the world to plant churches. It is based in South Houston.

We hope that if you have a desire to reach people in any of these areas, please let us know so that we can use your talents to further the word of God.

How you can partner with us

a.. PRAY in your individual daily prayers, and in forming a group of
"prayer warriors" who meet regularly to collect news and prayer requests for
raising up in prayer together to the Father.
b.. VISIT us with the intent to see where you can be involved or encourage
others in what God is doing here.
c.. GIVE when you hear of special needs of people in this area through
food drives, clothing drives, the upcoming Garage Sale (March 25-26), school
supplies in August, Impact contributions of various sorts, and Christmas
presents for inner city families. (Just to name a few regular items.)
d.. VOLUNTEER your time and energy to work at the distribution center
(Call Darlene Cervas at 713-862-7011), bring a group to serve Sunday lunch
to 250-300 people (Call Steven at 713-305-8009), bring a group to help with
kids classes or Children's Church, or helping with driving vans to bring
people to church. Visit www.impacthouston.org for so much more information.

Thank you for the ways that you are already so involved with Impact. Share
your own Impact stories with others, and I look forward to sharing many more
of my own with you. "Dios te bendiga." May God bless you. -Steven Wells
