The Kingwood Church of Christ has a heart for building up and equipping our families through every life stage. With this goal we have prayerfully and thoughtfully created this strategy for ministering to our families. We want to address the spiritual and emotional needs and encourage families of all life stages to continue to grow in their unity so they might overcome challenges to their faith. We realize there are many kinds of relationships an individual may have with others and their faith community. When we speak of families, we include: singles, married, married with kids, single parents, widowed, divorced, empty nest, seniors and grandparents as each of these connect to our church family.
The Family Ministry Initiative has 7 elements intended to strengthen, equip, and build up families. Through these we seek to grow stronger fathers and mothers, sons and daughters, husbands and wives, grandparents, friends, and disciples.
